Getting a Bot Account

  1. Log into your Discord account.

  2. Head on to https://discord.com/developers/applications/

  3. Click on the New Application button.

  4. After Setting its name and details, proceed to the Bot tab.

  5. Then, click the Add Bot button, further clicking Confirm when prompted.

  6. There's a Token on the top of the Bot Tab. At the top, Click on the Reset Token button and click confirm.

  7. Now, to add your bot go to OAuth2 ⟶ URL Generator. There, Tick the Bot and applications.commands checkboxes.

  8. Then, a new section will appear, with Discord permissions, there you can select "Manage Channels" so the bot can send messages in every channel.

  9. Now copy the URL generated at the bottom of the page and use it to add the bot to your server
